I did a reading for someone and I had to explain how the 12th house affects their chart. I thought the explanation was pretty thorough so with the permission of the client, I edited a portion of the reading so I could share it with you guys.
12th house in general represents your self undoing, self sabotaging ways, subconscious patterns, the collective unconscious, hidden matters, things you are not aware of (including hidden enemies), your past life, dreams,the unknown, and many more things. When you have energy in your 12th, it maybe hard for you to access that energy because of potential subconscious blockages from your early life or past life. It is important for you to face and heal these things; and use this energy to subconsciously help heal the collective in a subconscious/unconscious way- even if its personal. You are the collective so healing yourself is healing the collective. Each person healing is rising the vibration of the collective , even just by a smidgen. You may not even realize you're healing others; it maybe unbeknownst to you like its unbeknownst to the audience. Like an artist making a song that they didn't realize helped a fan in their life's journey. All that matters is healing is being address thus spiritual ascension is being had.
